Led by el bandito & his blanket poncho we journey a mile back to the car to drop off the gear prior to a mid day hike.

Our hike leads us to the ruins of an old homestead

Ah, the age old game of 'Rock Toss'; the national sport of the Mojave Desert

The beach is thatta way. Out here flexin' in the "Beginning" tee after the Rock Toss Throwdown

Whether its a cliff side or a decaying homestead wall, the Cosmonaut crew always finds a perch

Its amazing to think this used to be someone's home. One day someone may very well stand over the ruins of our house.

With the heat rising, we decide to continue our trek before the sun wares on us

About a half mile from the homestead we stumble across this abandoned car, coated in decades of rust.

Dirt caked & with visions of home we trudge along the ole' dusty trail back to the car.
